Maintain and improve your running fitness each week with the Girl Fight Winter Running Program. This program is specifically designed for runners who want to keep moving in the winter months.
This 10-week program includes:
- Weekly runs led by a certified Girl Fight running coach. Runs will last between 30-60 minutes and may include a combination of endurance, speed, and/or hill training to improve your running ability.
- Homework training plans emailed to you each week.
- Support, guidance, and accountability from both your coach and your group.
- Race-day support for the Runnin' of the Green 4-mile race on Saturday, March 17 at 9:00 am (in lieu of the final meeting on March 18). Race participation is optional and race entry fee is not included.
All participants must be able to run or run/walk 3 miles at the start of the program. The meeting location will vary each week. Your running coach will email you about the run's location a few days prior to the meeting date.
Please note that in the cases of inclement weather, your coach will inform you via email prior to the run if the run will be cancelled for safety reasons. Inclement weather includes heavy snowfall, ice, extremely low temperatures, and/or any other condition that could make it unsafe for running or driving to the running location. In the event of a cancelled run, a suitable make-up date will be planned.
